Prizmo scanner app can be enhanced with ScanJig

The folks at Easter Seals Crossroads have put together an excellent video tutorial on the Prizmo Scanner app. This app is also especially useful for the visually impaired as it does a great job converting text to speech - TTS.

Adding the ScanJig to this solution allows accurate tactile positioning of both the smart device (in this case the iPad) and the document to be scanned. The process of converting documents to speech is further simplified when there is no need to adjust borders, the focus is correct and the ambient lighting is optimized with no shadows.
