Scanner Pro - Reduce PDF File Size

Scanner Pro is one of the most popular scanner apps for iOS devices. For those with many items to scan, or need higher quality images, the app is often used with a scanning stand like ScanJig Pro.

In addition, documents are often saved in PDF format and stored in the cloud. If you have many documents the PDF file size needs to be as efficient as possible.

To reduce document file size, make sure you have good lighting, avoid casting a shadow on the document. Also, in the Settings area select Scanning and then check the Compress Documents option. We have found this will significantly reduce the final PDF file size.
